About Rouwhorst Photography
Hi! I’m Adrianna!
I’m a West Michigan–based photographer with a love for travel and storytelling through photos. I’ve been a photographer since 2020. I received my first “professional” camera at the beginning of my senior year of high school, and I loved documenting the big moments of that year. During 2020, photography became a creative outlet for me. I began asking family and friends if I could take their photos just for fun, and over the past five years, that passion has grown into a business I now proudly call Rouwhorst Photography—named after my maiden name.
In my business, I strive to be fun, friendly, understanding, and above all, professional. My top priority is making sure you feel fully taken care of, whether I’m photographing your wedding, senior photos, family portraits, headshots, or anything in between. I’m confident stepping in to guide and direct when needed, while also knowing when to step back and quietly capture genuine moments as they unfold.
To me, photography is all about storytelling. Every session captures a unique season of life—becoming husband and wife, preserving the sweetness of your children while they’re still young, or celebrating your senior year as you step into your next chapter. It’s truly an honor to walk alongside others during these moments and create memories that will last a lifetime.
A little more about me and my family!
Photography may not be my full-time job yet, but it is a huge passion of mine—and my hope is that it will be one day. I’ve loved watching this dream grow over the years. Currently, my full-time role is caring for six special-needs ladies in a group home where my husband, Jonah, and I live alongside them. I’ve been in this role for five years, and it has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. These incredible women have brought me so much joy and have walked with me through many seasons. While the job is busy, it offers enough flexibility for me to continue pursuing photography, and I am so grateful for that.
Jonah and I have been incredibly blessed by God, and we are thankful for every opportunity placed in our path. We were married in May of 2024 and have truly loved doing life together. In our free time, we enjoy staying home with our cat, cooking together, mountain biking, and traveling—whether it’s somewhere new for both of us or a place one of us hasn’t experienced yet. Jonah plays a huge role in my photography journey; he is my biggest supporter and never hesitates to go along with my need to take a thousand photos wherever we go.
Photography has given me a creative outlet that I truly cherish. Whether I’m capturing moments for clients or documenting my own life, I believe there is so much beauty in this world that deserves to be captured, developed, and displayed for all to see. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and my business along the way. And if we haven’t had the chance to work together yet, I look forward to that day.
