About Rouwhorst Photography
Hi! I’m Adrianna! I am a West Michigan based photographer, who loves to travel. I have been doing Photography since 2020. I got my first “professional” camera the beginning of my senior year of high school. I enjoyed documenting all the big events of that year, then during 2020 I needed something to do. I started asking my family and friends if I could take their photos for fun. It slowly after the last 5 years has developed into a business I now call Rouwhorst Photography, Rouwhorst being my maiden name.
In my business I strive to be fun, friendly, understanding, but over all professional. My number one goal is for you to know you are taken care of for your Wedding, Senior Photos, Family Portraits, Headshots, whatever service you are interested in. I’m not afraid to step in and take charge, and I’m also not opposed to stepping back and just capturing a moment from afar. I think photography is all about telling a story. No matter what you are capturing it is telling a story about the season of life you are in, whether its becoming husband and wife, documenting your kids while they are still so young, or capturing your senior photos as you start the next chapter of your life. I am so honored to be able to do this job for others, and capture these lasting memories.
A little more about me and my family!
Photography isn’t my full-time job, but that is the goal eventually. It is a very HUGE passion of mine and I’ve loved seeing it grow over the years. My current full-time job is taking care of 6 special needs ladies in a group home that both my husband Jonah and I live in with them. I’ve been at this job for 5 years now and it is the biggest blessing to me! Those ladies have brought me so much joy through the years and have been with me through a lot. This job is very busy, but provides enough flexibility that I am still able to pursue photography, and for that I'm very grateful!
Jonah and I have been so blessed by God! We are so grateful for every opportunity thrown our way! We got Married in May of 2024, and have loved being married and love doing life together. We enjoy staying home with our cat, cooking together, mountain biking, and traveling to places either we both haven’t been or places one or the other hasn’t. Jonah is a big reason I continue on in my business and try everyday to accomplish more and see what ways I can grow, he is my biggest supporter and always goes with the flow when it comes to me wanting to take a 1,000 photos any time we go anywhere.
I have loved the creative outlet that photography has given me. Whether it is for clients, or in my own personal life, there are so many things in this world that need to be captured, developed, and hung up for all to see! Thank you to those who have supported me and my business in the past, and if we haven’t had the opportunity to work together yet, I look forward to that day.
